The step up to Honours level presents students with a variety of new challenges. They are required to become more independent researchers, finding their own resources and often devising their own tasks. They have to tackle new types of assignment and to write at greater length and in greater depth than they did at 300 level. The workload increases, so time management skills become more important. A very high standard of written English is required, together with a more mature style and punctilious referencing. This 50 minute session will provide practical advice to help you to enjoy a successful Honours year. It is repeated four times in Week One. We would prefer you to enrol online, but if you are not able to do this, still come along.
